F4B is honoured and excited to welcome Grand Master Seungha (Bruce) Lee as Director of our Adaptive Taekwondo Skills Program.

In his homeland of South Korea, Grand Master Lee is an honourary university professor in the field of Taekwondo, having studied the national sport at tertiary level, and achieved his 8th Dan Black Belt after 40years as a practitioner.  He also holds a 7th Dan Black Belt in the Korean combat martial art of Hapkido  Grand Master Lee holds Bachelor & Master degrees in Sports Management & Science; and trained more than 900 Taekwondo students to the level of black belt.  His past/current high-level credentials in the sport of Taekwondo are too many to list, but highlights include:

Grand Master, Hangueoul Taekwondo Academy, South Korea (2001~2011)
  • Korea National Taekwondo Demonstration Team member
  • President, World Police Martial Arts Federation Australia
  • Vice President/Senior Instructor, US Army Combat Taekwondo Team, South Korea
  • Manager, ‘US Army Taekwondo Instructor Courses’ and ‘US Army Annual Combat Taekwondo Competition’, South Korea.  
  • Vice President, Middle Asia Taekwondo Federation
  • International Referee, World Taekwondo Federation
  • National Coach, Taekwondo Australia.

For over 10 years, Grand Master Lee regularly competed in national & international level championships in Korea – home to the largest Taekwondo tournament organisation in the world – with an estimated 70 million people currently practicing Taekwondo across 200 countries.  The scope of this international sport makes Grand Master Lee’s list of tournament achievements truly exceptional; consistently awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd place tournament titles.  Grand Master Lee has received several formal citations recognising his contributions to the development and dedicated service of Taekwondo from the President of Korea, President of World Taekwondo (Kukkiwon) and USA Army.

Grand Master Lee has a shared vision and passion to improve physical and emotional health outcomes for individuals and families affected by disabilities through access to positive sports programs. He is a long-standing supporter of our F4B family and is impassioned to bring his considerable knowledge, experience and international reputation to lead the development and implementation of an adaptive Taekwondo skills program by our Charity as Program Director.
