Leo is an F4B Founding Director and Board member. 

Leo joined the board as a Director in 2019, bringing extensive HR & business management experience developed through his career in mining, manufacturing and professional services industries. Through his commercial awareness, inquisitive and analytical approach and passion for simplifying the complex to drive outcomes, he has built a reputation for successfully contributing to the achievement of business goals.

Leo has worked directly with leaders from board level senior executive to the frontline, and focusses on collaboratively finding ways to drive a positive impact on an organisation’s performance and the day to day experience of the people working there. Leo holds tertiary qualifications in psychology and business. 

Leo is passionate about people having a sense of belonging and being in a place where they feel comfortable to be themselves and having every opportunity to contribute. Having lived in Australia, Finland, the USA and Canada, he knows first-hand the value everyone’s differences can bring.

Leo’s involvement in the not for profit sector began in 2012, after a chance meeting with a social enterprise founder in New York, joining their advisory board. Through this and other experiences, Leo is dedicated to using his skills to give back to the community.

In his free time, Leo loves spending time with his family. He’s a lifelong basketball fan, eternally grateful for the lessons learnt playing – teamwork, community, friendships, and hard work.
